Mildred A. Call 76, of Eleanor passed away Monday June 18, 2007 at CAMC Teays Valley following a short illness. She was a homemaker and was former employee at Toppers Steel as a bookkeeper in Columbus OH. She was a Baptist by faith and attended Cross Creek Community Church. She was an animal lover. Born August 17, 1930 she was the daughter of the late J. Will Affolter and Wilda Sigman Affolter. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband John D. Call and two brothers Clifford and Raymond Affolter. Survivors include: Brother: John Affolter of Eleanor. Sister: Frances Grant of Hurricane WV. Special friends: Millie Stover, Eva Cochran, and Kay Fisher. Along with several nieces and nephews and loads of close friends. Special thanks to Dr. Haffar, Dr. Pack , Dr. Akins and the nurses at CAMC Teays Valley for being so kind and caring. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 20, 2007 at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo with Pastor Harold Landers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Hurricane. Friends may call two hours prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Cross Creek Community Church, Buffalo.
